Ragging (known as "hazing" in the U.S.) is a mode of interaction between the senior and the junior students, customized by the formers into a form of serious abuse of the juniors. Ragging, in India, commonly involves gross violations of human rights.
Society Against Violence in Education (SAVE) is a registered, non-profit, voluntary organization working to put an end to the violations of human rights in the name of "ragging" in India.
SAVE is an NGO, conceptualized and run by young professionals and students from various professional and non-professional fields, in an effort to put an end to the age-old evil of ragging.
