Your Help Means A Lot

Support Our Movement

We need more and more people to understand the gravity of the problem, so there is urgent need to generate and/or spread proper awareness.

Most importantly the students need to be made aware, in order to discourage them from ragging and to encourage them in creating healthy, social and friendly atmosphere within their campuses. Newcomers should also know how and where to seek help and the recourses available. Awareness must also be generated among others concerned.

In addition to spreading the awareness, and to promoting / creating Anti-Ragging units within the campuses, there is a serious need to provide medical, legal and other supports to the victims and/or their families, esp. those who do not have adequate resources.

We strongly need YOUR kind supports to achieve our goal.

Let's make a Ragging-free India!

For spreading the awareness, we need...

  1. Volunteers – anyone may volunteer for the cause. Volunteering may be done in any or more of the following ways –

a)       Online - (working from home/office using your own computer connected to the internet),

b)       Campus level / Field level – visiting and campaigning at a campus near you or at some other important place.

c)       Professional volunteering –  e.g., providing us technical helps in designing / preparation / publication / distribution of materials or any other activity that requires professional supports.

  1. Help from the media (though we enjoy good supports from the media, continued and more extensive supports are required for spreading awareness) and from the advertising agencies.

  1. Helps from corporate / other organizations which have a good customer base.

  1. Financial supports

Any other help that may support the cause

For proving supports to the victims –

  1. Help from more psychiatrists, psychologists, and from healthcare institutions throughout the country.

  1. Help from more civil and criminal lawyers throughout India.

  1. Help from Counselors, Rehabilitation Experts, etc.

  1. Help from hospitals, other healthcare facilities, etc. as may be required for the treatments and rehabilitation of the unfortunate victims, esp. those who are from needy families.

  1. Co-operation from the members of legislative bodies and from the administration.

In addition, you may also help us in several other ways (e.g., providing accommodation for starting a little office –now in select cities only) as you consider appropriate.

We do need financial supports to run and to intensify our campaigns.
