" THANK YOU.. STEPS TAKEN!! "

August 10, 2010

        Hello,

We are extremely happy to say that they have taken the steps
what all we expected. Today morning itself they allotted a professor
in our bus. And also in canteen, they divided separately for first
years. And even in the evening we are accompanied safely by the
staffs. We are extremely thankful and grateful for SAVE as we didnt
expect such a drastic change! Really we are happy to see this. We hope
this to continue for us and also for incoming first years.

        Regards,

" Re : Incidents of ragging at National Institute of ***... "

August 04, 2011

After your last message, things have changed significantly. There are frequent

patrols going on during the classes. This has helped the freshers to be saved significantly. Also, many parents have come up with several complaints regarding this matter. A student has been fined for roaming in the corridors of the first year classes. This has helped a lot in saving us too. However the seniors are furious about this and have been threatening all the Second year students. They have been encouraging us to rag the first year students. I've stopped few of my friends from doing so but still it is not making much of a change. The second year students are still in despair. We are still afraid of getting ragged on buses and feel unprotected and insecure. I hope the situations change soon.
Thanks again for taking steps to help us out.
